Some insight… All of our equipment is by RESERVATION ONLY, we RENT TIME NOT USAGE, and when confirmed, your equipment and delivery date, and set up services (if applicable) are placed on hold to ensure that your order is filled accordingly. This makes any equipment you reserve, unavailable to other clients. Therefor, we are forced to charge a Cancellation Fee to compensate for the time the equipment is not available, as follows:
- Less Than 24 Hrs ~ Day Of Event Cancellation – 100% of the total rental invoice. No refunds will be provided.
- Less Than 48Hours Notice up to day of event – 50% of the total rental invoice (except Special Order items)
- More Than 48Hours Notice – No Fee (except Special Order items)
- SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS (Carpets, Fabric, Custom Stages, Set Design, Engineer Drawings, etc) – 100% of the total rental invoice – sorry, no exceptions. These have been specially ordered for your event, and we cannot return or use them in our inventory.
Events Cancelled Due To Weather:
RAIN DATE POLICY (EXCEPT STAGES & TRUSSING):
Although our military, government, and various corporate entities have the capability of controlling weather conditions (aka GEOENGINEERING. Read about OPERATION POPEYE, and existing CLOUD SEEDING technology), we understand that most of our clients will not posses this power (if you do posses this power, please let us know. We know of some dry land in Africa – not owned by Goldman Sachs – that could use some rain) For this we understand, and as such we do offer rain date exceptions for larger events & productions coordinated by our company…
RAIN DATE TERMS – EXCEPT STAGES & TRUSSING:
- Your rain date must take place within 3 months after the original cancelled date. Anything beyond 3 months will result in possible additional charges being applied and/or forfeiture of any deposits / payments. This is to cover our labor and time spent coordinating your event in post.
- Cancellations due to acts of God (illness, death, weather, pandemic, etc) will be charged only actual costs incurred by ETC if the Job is rescheduled within 3 months (aka Rain Date). If Job is not rescheduled, a service charge of 25% of the Job total or the actual costs incurred by ETC plus 25% of the Job total will be incurred.
- We DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS for rain date cancellations. You have the opportunity to reschedule your event, if you choose not to, it is the same as cancelling your event SAME-DAY and as such our SAME-DAY Cancellation policy is applied.
- This RAIN DATE policy DOES NOT APPLY to rentals whereas the client is picking up from our location, and returns the equipment same day due to cancellation.
RAIN DATE TERMS – STAGES (MOBILE & PORTABLE) & TRUSSING:
- There is no refund if your order is cancelled within 48 hours of your rental. Our stages and trussing items are large & bulky, and many times pulled 1-3 days before a rental to ensure everything is tested and safe for use for your event. We also incur labor rates to build your event in our warehouse. Some stages also get a fresh coat of paint, depending on event type. Our mobile truck stages begin incurring costs as soon as it leaves our warehouse. This takes time out from our other duties to perform, and as such we are not able to refund these charges.
