General Information

What does ETC Rentals do?

ETC Rentals provides professional audio visual equipment rental services including audio, lighting, video displays, staging, and party decor. We serve corporate, educational, entertainment, and private events of all sizes.

Where are you located?

We have warehousing out of North Bergen, NJ and Brooklyn, NY and proudly serve New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Selected equipment may be available for nationwide shipping.

We also work with affiliate productions companies in other regions such as Los Angeles, CA | Chicago, IL | Las Vegas, NV | Orlando, FL | Miami, FL

How do I request a quote?

You can request a quote directly through our website using the Request Quote Form or by calling 1.646.661.4078. Please include your event date, location, and equipment needs for a faster response.

Do you provide full event production?

Yes. ETC Rentals can handle full-service event production, including delivery, setup, technical operation, and strike.

Rental Process

We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date and equipment, especially during peak event seasons.

Yes. Rentals can be short-term or long-term depending on your event needs.

Minimums may apply based on delivery distance, setup requirements, or the type of rental. Please contact us for details.

Some items may be available for pickup, and some equipment requires professional delivery and setup to ensure proper operation and safety.

Delivery and Setup

Yes. Our team provides professional delivery, setup, and strike for all major event equipment.

We regularly deliver to NY, CT, and PA, and can accommodate select nationwide shipments for specific equipment.

Delivery and pickup times are coordinated based on your event schedule. Our team confirms all logistics in advance.

Yes. Certified technicians are available for installation, operation, and support throughout your event if required.

Insurance and Security

Yes, insurance is required when the client operates the equipment independently. If ETC Rentals provides setup and operation, additional insurance is typically not required.

Coverage can include:

  • Credit card on file with personal guarantee
  • Full replacement value deposit
  • Certificate of Insurance

Cancellations and Refunds

We rent time, not usage. Once equipment is reserved, it’s held exclusively for your event. Cancellation fees apply based on notice period:

  • Less than 24 hours: 100% charge
  • Less than 48 hours: 50% charge
  • More than 48 hours: full refund minus unrecoverable costs

Special-order items are non-refundable. 

We offer rain date rescheduling within 3 months of the original date. Refunds are not provided for weather-related cancellations unless rescheduled within that period.

Equipment and Technical Support

Yes. All rental gear is professionally inspected, tested, and maintained before every event to ensure reliable performance.

Yes. Our technicians can remain on-site to operate equipment or be on call for technical support, depending on your rental agreement.

Yes, many items are available for dry-hire (without on-site staff), provided you have qualified personnel to operate them.

If a technical issue occurs, contact us immediately. We provide prompt support or replacement equipment when possible to minimize downtime.

Payments and Invoicing

We accept major credit cards, ACH transfers, and business checks. Payment terms vary depending on project size and client history.

Yes. A Credit Card on file, Full Deposit or Certificate of Insurance (COI) is required to confirm all rentals and production services.

It’s all based on the value, equipment, and services requested.

NOTE: When our staff is hired to deliver, set up, and manage the equipment deposit is not required.

Full payment is typically due prior to delivery unless other terms are approved in writing.

We require all orders less than 30 days away, be paid in full.

50% payment is required upon confirmation if more than 30 days.  The balance paid in full within 30 days of the event.
