Insurance is mandatory if you are renting equipment from us and operating it yourself. However, if our team sets up and operates the equipment, insurance is not required. ETC requires all equipment renters to obtain liability insurance coverage for the equipment rented, and we recommend obtaining coverage for theft and damage as well. Proof of insurance must be provided to us at least 48 hours before the pickup or delivery date of the equipment. The insurance must be valid for the entire rental period and must name our party rental company as additional insured.

If the renter chooses not to obtain insurance coverage, we offer insurance coverage at an additional fee, which must be paid at the time of booking. Our insurance coverage does not cover intentional damage, loss due to theft or vandalism, or personal injury.

In addition to insurance coverage, we require a valid credit card on file as security for the equipment rented. The credit card will be charged for any damage or loss to the equipment, or for any additional fees incurred during the rental period, such as late fees or cleaning fees.

Equipment security is also a top priority for us. We use a variety of measures to ensure the security of our equipment, including proper transport cases and regular equipment inspections. However, we also require the renter to take reasonable precautions to protect the equipment, such as securing the equipment when not in use and monitoring the equipment during the rental period.

If the equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged during the rental period, the renter must immediately notify our company. We will work with the renter to investigate the loss or damage and determine the appropriate course of action. The renter will be responsible for the replacement cost of any lost or damaged equipment.

    – Certificate Of Insurance
  4. Orders over $15,000 will require Certificate of Insurance (COI) with at least $1M coverage protection.

CREDIT CARD on FILE w/Personal Guarantee:
Your credit card details will be kept on file in the event of loss, damage, or late return. A personal guarantee is also required, listing the client as personally responsible for all damages and outstanding balances

FULL REPLACEMENT VALUE:
We will need the FULL Replacement Value of the equipment charged to a credit card, or a cash deposit. After your rental has been returned, and all equipment tested and verified, the deposit will be released.
