Rental Policy Agreement
Please Note: Rentals are based on time, not usage. Each rental period covers 24 hours unless otherwise specified.
Equipment Rental Policy
Thank you for choosing ETC Rentals for your Audio Visual Equipment Rental and event rental needs. We take pride in providing high-quality rental equipment and want to ensure your rental experience is smooth and enjoyable. Please review the following policy before confirming your order.
Reservation and Payment
All equipment rentals require a reservation and payment in full at the time of booking.
We accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks. Equipment reservations are not confirmed until full payment is received.
Cancellation Policy
Orders canceled more than 7 days before the scheduled delivery or customer pickup (except for Mobile Stages) will receive a full refund minus any unrecoverable costs incurred by ETC Rentals, including but not limited to reserved labor, prep work, subrentals, or custom materials.
Because a confirmed order removes an item from our rentable inventory, orders canceled within 96 hours or less of the event may not receive a refund.
Orders canceled within 48 hours due to acts of God will not receive a refund; however, the total amount (minus unrecoverable costs) will remain as usable credit for six months from the original rental date.
No credits or refunds are provided for unused rental time or weather-related issues once equipment is delivered.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup or delivery will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
Equipment Pickup and Delivery
Equipment pickup is available at our facility during business hours.
Delivery and pickup services are available for an additional fee and must be arranged at the time of booking.
Our team will deliver the equipment to the designated location at the agreed-upon time and collect it at the end of the rental period.
Equipment Use
The equipment must be operated by an adult (18+).
The renter is responsible for ensuring safe and proper use in accordance with the instructions provided by ETC Rentals.
Equipment Care and Cleaning
The renter is responsible for the proper care and cleaning of all equipment during the rental period.
Any damage caused by improper use, neglect, or insufficient cleaning will result in additional fees.
Loss or Damage to Equipment
The renter is responsible for the full replacement cost of any equipment that is lost, stolen, or damaged during the rental period.
ETC Rentals encourages renters to obtain insurance coverage for all rented equipment.
Extended Rentals
If you need to extend your rental period, please contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements.
We will do our best to accommodate your request, depending on equipment availability.
Safety
All ETC Rentals equipment is regularly inspected and maintained to ensure safety and reliability.
However, the renter assumes all risks and liabilities associated with equipment use.
Force Majeure
ETC Rentals shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations if such failure results from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, government regulations, war, strikes, civil disturbances, power outages, or severe weather (a “Force Majeure Event”).
In the event of a Force Majeure Event, ETC Rentals reserves the right to suspend or terminate any rental agreement without liability.
The renter acknowledges that ETC Rentals shall not be responsible for any damages or losses resulting from a Force Majeure Event.
